Android 7.0 Update for Moto Z Play Indian Retail units (Retin)

Android 7.0 beta was released a year ago in March, 2016 and it was only available for select devices made by Google. While the latest version of nougat, i.e., Android version 7.1 is already out in the Android space, the owners of the Lenovo Moto Z Play users in India as well as other global users were desperately waiting for a release date of the 7.0 update.
As there were a lot of confusion regarding the same. The Motorola support team Germany had last cited that the company has postponed the release date to March this year. Initially an update was expected in the last week of December 2016 that changed to January 2017 and then March.
Hence, the owners of the Moto Z Play were now getting impatient and the Motorola Support team were rather good-for-nothing as they were unaware of a release date themselves.
Finally, a user in the XDA forum posted a link where the Z Play users can check for an available OTA update if the inbuilt system update check fails for the Indian firmware.
You may, therefore, visit the link here http://motorola.erfanabdi.ir/ and follow the on-screen guidelines which should provide you an option to download the latest version of Android 7.0 available for the device.
This was only tested for the Retin channel, however, it should work for other channels, too.
